About Me

Hailing from Torquay, on the ‘English Riviera’ I washed my way onto Sydney’s shores as a skinny, weedy migrant back in the mid-90s. With my change of location came a change in attitude, and I discovered strength and hypertrophy training which enabled me to build up my fitness, health and confidence. Following a career change, I ditched the corporate hum-drum and followed my passion for fitness and became a personal trainer. Through 10 years of firsthand experience I’m now privileged to be able to apply the functional style of training that benefited my well-being, to others, as they strive towards their health and wellness goals.

Fitness Journey

On arriving in Australia, I switched my personal fitness focus from rugby, racquet sports and cycling, to resistance training, HIIT and running. I enjoy a functional approach to full body fitness where I believe following the natural movement patterns of the human body provides a more holistic and injury-free benefit.

My natural energy and enthusiasm will help you smash through one of our highly effective full-body Youtopia Fit sessions. Or join me for a 1:1 personal training session where I can build a tailored program that will challenge the preconceptions of your own ability, through effective, proven and fun training approaches. Whether it’s training for your first fun run or half marathon, building strength or muscle definition or targeting weight loss and toning, I’ll work with you to apply full body dynamics, circuit training and yoga practices in an enjoyable, engaging manner to make you look and feel fabulous! Qualifications: - Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness - Kettle Bells Instructor Level 1 - Boxing Trainer Level 1
